HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel Medical Lab Technician for a travel job in Del Norte, Colorado.

Title: Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
Location: Del Norte, CO
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night Shift, 3x12-Hour (18:00–06:30)

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform a full range of generalist laboratory testing, including Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, and Manual Blood Bank.
• Process, handle, and accession specimens with accuracy and adherence to laboratory protocols.
• Collect specimens and perform venipuncture; must be able to draw blood independently.
• Utilize proper labeling practices to ensure specimen integrity and compliance with quality standards.
• Conduct pipetting procedures, prepare samples, and perform analytical testing according to established methods.
• Report test results accurately and promptly to support clinical decision-making.
• Maintain quality assurance and quality control measures throughout all phases of testing.
• Work within a hospital clinical laboratory environment and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members as needed.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of laboratory experience.
• Proficiency in specimen collection, processing, and accessioning.
• Experience with venipuncture and blood draws.
• Competence in performing generalist laboratory testing, including Chem, Heme, Coag, and Manual Blood Bank.
• Ability to uphold laboratory quality standards and follow all safety protocols.

Certifications & Licensure:

• AMT (American Medical Technologists) certification – preferred
• ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology) certification – preferred
• Active Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) certification/license as required by the state of practice.
