Position Title: Senior Technical Recruiter
Work Arrangement: Remote | 9/80 Schedule (Every other Friday off)
Pay rate: $46.49
Location:  Winchester, VA

Position Summary:

Become a vital part of ensuring the company has the very best talent available. As a  Senior Technical Recruiter , you will lead efforts in delivering high-quality candidates for various hiring needs. You will help advance the employer brand across diverse markets and professional communities, while guiding both hiring managers and candidates through the recruitment process.

This role offers the opportunity to build strong relationships, exercise creativity in sourcing strategies, and influence both immediate and long-term talent acquisition goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct full life-cycle recruiting while fostering strong relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and HR partners.
• Lead intake meetings with hiring managers to understand job responsibilities, desired skills, and hiring timelines.
• Partner with sourcing teams to develop innovative strategies for hard-to-fill roles.
• Review resumes and evaluate candidates for skills, experience, and cultural fit.
• Pre-screen candidates using behavioral interview techniques.
• Provide accurate, engaging information about the company, role, and career path opportunities.
• Prepare candidates for interviews with hiring managers and leadership teams.
• Extend offers of employment in alignment with compensation guidelines and approval protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation on all candidates and hiring activities within the applicant tracking system.
• Stay current with recruitment trends and best practices to ensure competitive hiring strategies.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 6 years of full life-cycle recruiting experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Strong experience recruiting across various functions, including Procurement, Finance, Contracts, Engineering, and Supply Chain—preferably within a Department of Defense (DoD) environment.
• Ability to manage multiple open positions across a national, multi-location organization.
• Skilled in developing effective sourcing and closing strategies in partnership with hiring teams.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and applicant tracking systems.

Preferred Skills and Tools:

• Experience working remotely with hiring teams across multiple time zones.
• Familiarity with:
• Kenexa Applicant Tracking System
• Phenom Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) tool

Education:

• Required: Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination)
