Summary of Duties and Responsibilities The Provider Recruiter is accountable for executing the full‑cycle recruitment of all provider and clinician positions within Variety Care. Responsibilities include sourcing, hiring, on‑boarding and completing administrative tasks. Maintains the applicant tracking system (ATS) and all candidate records. Works directly with hiring managers, directors, and/or executives for recruiting purposes. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for completing all tasks with a sense of urgency within a full cycle recruitment process for clinicians and other clinical positions, this includes job posting, screening, interviewing, communications and reporting. Communicates proactively and clearly with clinical candidates about the Variety Care organizational structure, compensation plan, benefits, DPI, and features of the position. Completes all administrative tasks associated with the hiring, internal transfers and onboarding process with a sense of urgency and detail. Build relationships with hiring managers to ensure positions are filled with appropriate staff in a timely and effective manner. Creates and maintains a professional network with local organizations, schools, clubs, staffing agencies and online groups. Reviews and approves personnel requisitions through the applicant tracking system (ATS) and makes necessary corrections. Ensure every requisition is within the budgeted salary range and approved by upper management. Posts and announces job openings. Designs and publishes job advertisements with various job posting sites as requested by hiring managers. Performs and communicates with hiring managers the initial review of applications to assess skills and competencies for appropriate match to available openings. Maintains daily applicant flow, talent pool, and notifies qualified applicants of new positions. Partners with the Provider Coordinator to ensure Providers records are current and complete. Partners with Credentialing, Legal and the CMO to ensure the completion of contracts, bonuses and credentialing. Provides support and backup for other functions within People and Culture in the department. Runs data reports as requested: time‑to‑fill, cost‑to‑fill, candidate source, and other reports as needed. Attend job fairs, recruiting events, and meetings as directed. Promotes Variety Care as the employer of choice at these events. Fosters an atmosphere within the department that promotes quality service to Variety Care patients and internal customers through active listening, attention to accuracy and personal responsibility for business outcomes. Communicates and interacts with all levels of staff to effectively coordinate special projects and develops working relationships to further the goals and objectives of Variety Care. Supports Variety Care’s accreditation as a Patient‑Centered Medical Home and our commitment to provide care to all Variety patients that are safe, effective, patient‑centered, timely, efficient, and equitable. Provides leadership and works with all staff to achieve the goals of the “Triple Aim” of healthcare reform—to improve the experience of care, improve health outcomes, and decrease healthcare costs. Must be a leader in the department and community. Result‑oriented problem solver who is responsible and accountable. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements, Special Skills or Knowledge Associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, or related field required, or five years of experience as a recruiting professional in managing full‑cycle recruiting. At least two years of experience in recruiting. Experience working in a multi‑faceted, cubicle office setting. Expert administrative and organizational skills. Experience working with diversity among employees. Expert communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Expert typing and computer application skills. Preferred Requirements, Special Skills or Knowledge PHR, SPHR, or SHRM certification. Two years provider and clinician recruiting experience. Essential Functions Must be able to lift 25 pounds. Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Must have excellent concentration ability. Ability to travel to health centers and career fairs as needed.
