Job Description

Join a patient-focused donor center as a Phlebotomist . You’ll perform safe, high-quality venipuncture, monitor donors and equipment, document accurately, and protect confidentiality throughout the donation process.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture; monitor donors for reactions and intervene per protocol
  

• Set up, operate, disconnect, and sanitize plasmapheresis/collection equipment
  

• Support donor eligibility/suitability workflows and complete required documentation
  

• Maintain PHI security and HIPAA compliance; follow SOPs, infection control, and PPE use
  

• Conduct in-process quality checks; maintain accurate logs, lot/shift records, and labeling
  

• Communicate clearly with donors and teammates; escalate issues promptly
  

Required Qualifications 

• High School Diploma or GED
  

• Superior customer service and communication skills
  

• MediClear Certification (or equivalent HIPAA credential) — required
  

• Ability to work a flexible schedule (days/evenings/weekends/holidays as needed)
  

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions; maintain confidentiality
  

Physical & Work Conditions

• Stand/walk 6–8 hrs/shift ; frequent hand/foot movement; occasional bending/twisting
  

• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs occasionally
  

• Clinical environment with potential biohazard exposure and freezer temps below 32°F
  

• Required PPE: protective eyewear, garments, gloves, and cold-gear as needed
  

• Visual/hearing acuity sufficient for safe clinical work
