We are seeking a detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support our litigation counsels in managing all aspects of case tracking and legal fee management. The ideal candidate will ensure case tracking being well recorded and case calendar being well managed, ensure accurate and timely billing processes, maintain financial records, and assist with litigation status tracking. This role is critical to the case management and the Companys financial operations.
Reports To: Legal Head of PD / Chief Litigation Counsel
Responsibilities
Review, and edit pre-bills and final invoices for litigation matters.
Ensure compliance with billing guidelines.
Monitor attorney time entries and expense reports for accuracy.
Follow up on missing entries and resolve discrepancies.
Collaborate with finance teams to ensure timely payment processing.
Prepare reports on accounts payable and billing status.
Organize case chronology;
Structure, index, and manage evidence and documents (discovery);
Maintain case calendar;
Handle routine communication with clients, courts, and opposing counsel.
