Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is hiring a Lead or Senior Mechanical Systems Design & Analysis Engineer (Ordnance) in Saint Charles, Missouri. Boeing has an established legacy of national defense through our Space, Intelligence & Weapon Systems programs.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Energetics Systems in support of missile programs

  • Work with Suppliers to ensure delivery of quality products on schedule

  • Supports the development, maintenance or modification of system, component and installation designs/proposals to provide design documentation to downstream groups

  • Verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications

  • Contributes to supplier development, test and production activities and directs the supplier to optimize integration and achieve program goals.

  • Supports system components' designs/proposals standards to provide installation and detail documentation

  • Trains others

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship . An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.

  • Lead, Level 5: Typically 14 or more years' related work experience in an engineering role or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications

  • Senior, Level 6: Typically 20 or more years' related work experience in an engineering role or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience working energetics

  • Experience working with energetics suppliers

Lead, Level 5 Pay Summary range: $ 136,850 - $ 185,150

Senior, Level 6 Pay Summary range: $ 166,600 - $ 225,400
