Job Description

Located in the heart of the Coachella Valley, you have access to resort-style living and world-class amenities throughout Southern California.

• Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies, and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violations.
• Provides and follows customer service standards of excellence.
• Manages the day-to-day maintenance and integrity of the donor and prospect databases using Raisers Edge software, including data entry and reporting applications; data restoration and performance optimization.
• Create and maintain contacts with (actual and potential) information and data partners within Blackbaud by participating in meetings and forums relating to monitoring and evaluation and continued education.
• Troubleshoots database problems and suggests corrective action as required from EMC Information Systems as they relate to the integrity of the EMC Foundation databases.
• Interfaces closely with Eisenhower Information Systems on annual software upgrades.
• Interfaces with EMC Information Systems when necessary. Communicates with EMC Information Systems and suggests corrective action.
• Successfully delivers multiple large projects concurrently and/or in overlapping time lines.
• Maintains manuals and other resources.
• Serves as database training leader for staff.
• Maintains and expands expertise through self-directed reading and studying, through formal training opportunities, and through vendor-supplied information resources.
• Produces intricate, sequentially tiered solicitation mailings and reports for the annual appeal.
• Performs donor financial and/or giving history data analysis using complex queries.
• Ability to learn new, or latest versions of software and competently train other staff to efficiently use it through personal and group training sessions
• Exceptional ability to problem solve and think critically to create complex algorithms for data analyses/extraction
• Competent in interpreting, correlating, and communicating biographical, corporate, and Foundation information related to organizational needs
• Proficient in keyboarding/typing skills
• Proficient knowledge in Blackbaud Raisers Edge database application and possess complex report generation skills
• Proficiency required in Microsoft Office applications including, Word, Outlook, Excel Experienced with Access
• Excellent team environment skills with proven ability to prioritize work and responsibilities
• Superior interpersonal skills (written, oral and telephone skills) in dealing with public, executive and professional staff, co-workers and volunteers
• Well-groomed image maintains dress code
• Self-starter, highly organized, detail-oriented and able to effectively manage multiple tasks
