Overview The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects tutors with students nationwide for online CPCE tutoring. Tutors set their own schedule, earn competitive rates, and work from home. Pay Base pay range: $18.00/hr - $40.00/hr. Base contract rates start at $18/hour and increase for specialized subjects. You’ll earn incrementally higher pay for each session with the same student—reaching up to $40/hour. Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions you conduct and invoice. Responsibilities Tutor remotely using the Live Learning Platform (no commuting required). Match with students best-suited to your teaching style and expertise. Deliver high-quality 1-on-1 online tutoring tailored to individual students. Utilize the AI-powered Tutor Copilot to enhance sessions with real-time instructional support, lesson generation, and engagement features. Invoice for tutoring sessions; the platform handles payments and logistics. What We Look For In a Tutor Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style. Expertise in CPCE with the ability to explain concepts clearly. Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles. Priority given to those with tutoring experience, teaching experience, and graduate-level education.
